Hi
I don't have a cell phone and I'm currently trying to figure out what is best for me. I live in the US but occasionally (read: once or twice a year) travel to Asia. Is it smart for me to get a triband phone? Do all triband phones require SIM cards, or are there any "normal" cell phones (that work with cell phone carriers here in the US) that are triband? A friend has offered me the actual phone requiring a SIM card for free. With that in mind would it just be cheaper for me to get a prepaid phone plan with a carrier such as Cingular, and then to simply buy a SIM card for Asia when I go? I know these sound like stupid questions, but I'm very confused as to what I should be doing. Would somebody please help me? Thanks!!!!!
