Samsung DVD-M105???

I've tried and tried to get my DVD player to be multi regional, but with no result. can anyone out there help me with this problem?

Here you go it worked for me so it should work for you.



The steps in bold may be time sensitive, and therefore may need to be performed quickly. If Method 1 doesn't work, then try Method 2.



Method 1:



1. Press the Repeat button on your remote control (NB: Do not confuse this with the Repeat A-B button)



2. Press the buttons 5, 7, 5, 3 and 8 on your remote control, in order one at a time



3. The numbers 02 will be displayed on the top left of your on screen display



4. Press the 1 button on your remote control for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on, or 9 for multi-region playback



5. Press the Open button on your remote control



6. After 15 seconds have elapsed, power off your player and then power on your player



Method 2:



1. Press the Repeat button on your remote control (NB: Do not confuse this with the Repeat A-B button)



2. Press the buttons 3, 8, 7, 6 and 7 on your remote control, in order one at a time



3. The numbers 02 will be displayed on the top left of your on screen display

6. After 15 seconds have elapsed, power off your player and then power on your player

Thank you for the tip, but it didn't work for me. To begin with, there was no 02 after entering the code. Then I simply don't know when to enter the DVD. I thought it would be logical after opening before closing and power off-on, but it doesn't work?. I'm desperate

I Live in Australia, And i think the multi region codes are different, so ... i have the samsung dvdm105, and i dont have a remote and just spent a sizeable amount on region 2 dvds, but in most of the hacks ive found, they say that the numbers 02 appear, and the dvds ive found are region 2.. .but im wondering if the hacks are form uk or us..
so hopefully when i get them they will play. Has anyone from AUS got this dvd player... if so does it play R2 aswell as R4??? i need help bad..

I'm in the same situation. I tried both hacking tips with both codes, but no go.
Any suggestions?
