Dansai 852 problems

Can anyone help???... I've had a Dansai 852 for over a year now, and so its been fine, but recently it started playing up... after a few minutes of paying, it starts to pause for a few seconds, then start again.... after a few more minutes it pauses, and just sits there.. won't do anything, won't even eject the disc!!



If you turn it off via the power switch, its still locked up... you have to turn it off for several mins before you can turn it on again...time for it to cool down??



I've read somewhere on here about a overheating problem, this sounds like the cause, has anyone tried fixing the problem, and did it work??

I have had the same problem an thik it might be to do with the DVD damper mechanism as you can replicate this by pushing on the spindle as it turns exactly the same thing happens, the picture freezes as if crashing so not sure its overheating.

sounds like a psu problem to me!
