    Help...I have a problem with my LG DC593W Combo unit. When playing VHS tapes, on screen message "Play Hi Fi SP" displays intermittently. CLK/CNT clears the message, but it returns about 1 minute later and continues to flash on and off during tape play. Any ideas please?

    I have the same unit and mine does exactly the same thing - Most annoying when it's accompanied by an audible click as the Hi-Fi mode drops in and out...

    I also have snowy output which I can't tune out (even on DVD) even though I can confirm that all cables/ connections etc work faultlessly when hooked up to other components...

    I will watch this space.
