Bought an 18.1" cybercom TFT last week from Staples, £349 and I'm very pleased with it.
OK there are no bells & whistles like usb hubs etc. but the picture is excellent & it looks even bigger at home on my desk! -

I went to our local Staples store and checked out the Cybercom 18 and 17 inch monitors against those by Sony and HP. The Cybercom stood the comparison very well and is of course MUCH CHEAPER.
But does the 18 inch TFT monitor have a DVI input?
Could you please tell, as I was unable to find that out.
Thank you. -

15 pin connector is the only video input -

Thank you. That 15 pin would be the analogue input.
Thank you very much for your response. -

Thank you Morphius. That is very useful indeed.
My 2 year old 15 inch TFT Monitor by Mitac(I believe) has a response rate of 40ms. My son has played games and DVD's on it. He said it's all right. So based on his comment, I thought the cybercom might be OK for games and DVD's as I believe it has a claimed response rate of 30 ms.
But after reading your comment, I think I shall stick to my original decision to buy a Hitachi CML175SXW with a response rate of 16 ms.
So you have helped me confirm an important decision.
Thank you once again.
