Actually I've no idea who the Stig really is. If I had to guess it would be Tiff 'Needles' Needell. I presume he's contracted to Channel 5 for 'Fifth Gear' so he couldn't officially appear on another channel. Only a guess tho.
If anyone does know who it is or has any other guesses, post them here.

Perry McCarthy is just a test driver they use. I guess they do all this "Stig" stuff to get us all wandering who it is and will keep watching to see if ever revealed. He's a 42 year old nut case. -
