MP3's not playing on Sanyo DVD SL22

Hi,



My Sanyo DVD SL20 is supposed to be able to play MP3's but I have been unable to make it play any.



I have burnt the files as MP3's on ISO9660 Mode 1 cd in Nero.



They show up fine on the PC but the DVD says NO DISC.



Any ideas anyone?

I have the same problem with my Toshiba 2800. initially it would play all my mp3's but gradually it started returning Disc Errors and eventually refused to play any of the discs. All other modes of the player appear to be working correctly.



Similar to your experience the discs all play well on the computer. As an experiment I tried some of my mp3 discs in a variety of DVD display models at the superstore. Without exception the discs all played without problem even with entry level DVD players.



Toshiba has agreed to replace my unit but I am not sanguine that this is going to solve the problem.

Easy! Do what I did.

Take the poxy thing back to where you got it, and demand either a refund or a different model which will play mp3s
