My daughters account was hacked and she lost her furniture and credits, she was very upset.
I sent an email to Habbo, they replied saying they were not responsible for user errors and that Habbo can not be hacked!
Their terms and conditions were also quoted stating they were not responsible and the problem was with my daughter or computer security.
They refused to help any further and told me my future emails would be treated as spam after I asked for the customer service mangaer details to write too.
I found the attitude and service very poor and certainly not helpful.

I dont agree with this thread there are ways to get free credits its just you have to go through those spam websites like prizerebel (and yes there is a referral link in there). But all you do is setup a new email address to collect the spam and habbo credit code and use google to find a real postal address to pretend to use as yours. The just fill in some of the free offers that just send you email junk but you get points for letting them. Once you have 10 points, they email you the code (this took 2 days - at 15 mins a day for me (some offers take time 24hrs to credit), a lot less time than trying hacking or scamming - which i wouldnt do anyway). To save even more time you can just download a free trial of roboform, fill in your main details once (use a fake, realistic name to go with the email and address) then just fill in the forms with one click. I originally used this to get a free xbox live subscription, but ever since i started using habbo, i've been using it for that.

Now i realise this probably constitutes as spam as its got a referral link in it, but the point i'm trying to make is that there are ways of getting free creds, and a hell of a lot more ethical (and easier) than the ones mentioned here.

Jay is totally right except for one thing: you can hack into habbo. Hobbas seem to be in denial about this but many people have reported their accounts being hacked without doing anything at all. And (please don't ban me!) I've used hacking programs on the hotel and, even if they can't give you furni or creds or even have the desired effect, they definitely do something to the game. I don't see many blue faces anymore, so maybe you fixed that, but I still see accasional invisi's here and there. So any hobba or habbo staff who says you cant hack into the hotel is in denial, and you should stop denying it and do something about it!

I have keylogged a few people once or wice and i have Hacked plenty of times but i NEVER Scam i had one HC Account got banned for scamming but i did give out my password then i got another one BANNED Again and that had furni and HC and that was all lost so i made another HC one banned again meh habbos is goign to be down soon enough

okay well i was hacked, i don't know.. 5 - 6 days ago. I had been on holiday so could not have opened any files which contained keyloggers or what ever. I logged on and all, every single one of my rares and hc had gone. i didn't know what to do, so i quickly moved all the remaining furniture to my hand and made a new acount, then moved the furniture to thhat acount.

How was i hacked?

Did i do the right thing?

Soal, most of those guys have that much becoz they own casino's etc. and when ppl bet them, if they win they gets lots back. The other reason aslo is that they where on Habbo when the Thrones where giving out By Ione (former habbo manager) she gave everyone a present for her birthday ages ago becoz i got a Russain Samanover from hur x!z

Ov. Habbo can be hacked, mostly anything now-adys can be - but yoo can prevent it for gawds sake!!!!

Everyone gives out their passwords and email address's, and you all wonder why Habbos get hacked

I think that if you all just had the power to say "NO!" when another habbo asked for your MSN addy or password then habbo would be a safer place.

I have been on habbo for 3 and a half years not and i have had no problems coz;

1. i *NEVER* give out my passwurd

2. i *NEVER* give out my MSN addy or other email addy!



If you are on msn and som1 sends yoo a .exe file ( or any file i think! ) you dont accept it. Last week a guy tried to ask for my password so i coudl get "Free Credits", guess whot i did ? i told him a completly rong password + reported him to the MOD's.



Im not even giving my habbo name out on this forum, becoz at end of the day i dunno hoo is reading this and hoo u all r ( tho im sure U R all luvly ppl )



So just think the next time som1 asks for any personal details - when any1 does that to me i report rite away!
