hi again! just reading thru the old ones again, and if people are having probs with sky on scart socket 2, there is a setting on most TV's because av2 is switched off to decoders! if you change it to on, you should have no probs with having sky in 2nd scart socket!

Lo ,,i got the 32 & quot; model which i think is the same ,,they were even the same price at Safeways!

The picture quality isnt what youd get on a sony etc obviously , with a lack of definition and slight pixelazation. It handles both ntsc and pal signals which is good so i can watch import dvds.

The screen itself is virtual flat(!) but not so noticeable.

Sound is fine but if turned up too high the bass reverberates.

All in all, good value for£250 but dont expect

    a Sony.

    Hope this was useful

Where did you get the 32 & quot; for 249 - latest Safeways catalogue has it for 319?

Can I ask which store it was? I did a ring around my local (Southampton) stores this morning - I rang 12 stores and the best I got was the 28 & quot; with DVD player built-in for 249. (or 299 at a couple of ther stores). The 32 & quot; was not in stock anywhere - a couple of stores were going to have it at 329 on Wednesday when the sale starts.

Safeway seems to have a quite haphazard pricing policy!

    Cheers,

They've gone up!! I've just paid £349 for 32 & quot;. Sure they were £249 last time I missed the chance. Quite good quality - though (sure I read this somewhere in here previously, when viewing picture in 'square'format (ie. so pictures central in middle of screen - lots of black space around), there's a purple line running vertically down the complete screen, in line with the edge of the picture. However, would never watch the screen in that format!! Still- something's not quite rright!!

Bought a Naiko 28" combi from Safeway 13 months ago. £400 but seemed a bargain at the time. Always was a slight problem with the screen not being central but learned to live with that. Started making a noise 2 days ago and now wont power on. Repair man said nothing he could do cause can't get parts.. Safeway don't want to know. Anyone had similar probs and if so what did you do?? Any feedback great..
