Region hack

I need a regionhack for my JVC XV-S302 or

some updated firmware.

Make sure there is no disc in the player



Unplug DVD player



Plug system back in while holding the "Open/Close" and the "play" buttons (ON THE PLAYER, NOT the remote)



The word "Test" should come up on the player Display



Press "9" on the remote until the display on the player says "00A0 0000"



Press "Standby/on" (remote or player)



Wait 15 seconds



Turn player back on



YOUR PLAYER IS NOW REGION FREE!!!!!

(This Hack also works for the 302 *Silver* version)



(IT DIDN'T WORK FOR REGION 4 DVD's ON MY JVC XV-S302 SILVER)

What about playing DVD-RW or +RW.

I see reports that it will play them, but I cannot play +RW, and only 1 -RW has played, and it only played the once, as it now gives ERROR.



Is there any hack/setting that can be changed to enable it.

To make it 100% region free follow these Steps:



follow steps 1-2 on the other hack



3 - press the "skip" button ON THE PLAYER don’t worry about the skipping sound, its just the player adjusting



4 - when the clicking is done put the system on standby for 5 seconds (minimum)



5 - Play DVD



Obs.: A have a DVD (Region 4) that didn’t play at all even after that, so I send my DVD player to a little journey 11 steps down right from my flats windows till the ground. It was worth it!!!!! Now I have a SVA multiregional 6:1 audio that plays everything and JVC…..
