Hey I figured I would start a fourm for kyocera phones since no one has yet. Though it seems there are a lot of kyocera customers out there. We need to learn how to make .kws file out of .wav files or something. Also I was wondering about games on the kyocera phones. I have a 2135 and I have the usb connectivity kit. I have some of the free ringers on the kyocera website. Nothing special though.

It doesn't look like there are many options available for the 2135.

You're absolutely right.I've been trying to locate a conversion tool,or find someone who has access to a website that is dedicated to building on the 1st grade ringers that Kyocera offers.Yankee Doodle Dandy...for adults,lol.Yeah...right.I called corporate Verizon, and their answer to me was that the other companies specializes in "bells and whistles",while they focus on staying ahead in "technology".For Nokia, there are sites where you can get thousands of ringers...we have 29.If you find anything, please contact me,as I will contact you if I hear anything. Thanks for starting this forum...we'll get it soon,i'm sure !

    Hey,

I also have the Kyocera 2135 phone, and I realized because the tones are so simple, you might be able to hex edit them. Because all the phone needs to know is the pitch and the length of the sound as well as pauses, you might be able to associate different variables and such with different pitches and how it's all organized. I haven't been able to try this yet, but i might be able to get back to you about it. just download a hex editor and try to edit the .kws files with it. Peace out.
