FUJI FINEPICS 2650 ZOOM

Can someone offer some help?

I recently purchased a Fuji Finepics 2650 off a web site. It was an "open box" purchase. The problem I have is that this "open box" only came w/ the camera......and NOTHING ELSE. I have no manuals, cables, software, instructions or anything. The camera does work, but I can't use it w/ my PC because I don't even know where to start. I have been able to find a USB cable and I checked the Fuji web site and they offer some downloads. The problem there is I don't even know what I need to download. I have WINDOWS XP. Any suggestions would be very helpful considering I am at a lost with this. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you can help.

Hi, on the fuji website, if you go to the downloads section you can download the USB driver and the Fuji finepix software.



You have to have the USB driver for the computer to recognize when the camera is plugged in, the finepix software is not neccessary it just makes it easier to transfer the images.



You should also be able to download a manual for your camera.

Hi
my fine pix 2600Zoom has a "card not initialized" message. I cannot erase or format on the camera or pc. brougt two new cards, first i get a "!write error" warning if i try to take a picture, then i get the "!card not initialized" warning again.
the camera is only 18 months old.
