    Try registering with Boltblue.com - I have sent texts to Africa but not Nigeria it may work. Good luck.

    Hi there. Ishy is right Try boltblue.com I have tried it and it went to MTN GSM phones but not econet Nigeria.



    Anyone knows what free txt services goes to Econet Nigeria?

    Has anyone found out how to reach Econet phones in Nigeria? I would really like to find a service that does.

    I wouldn't mind paying for it either, but my own network from the Netherlands does not get the messages through.

    I live in the Netherlands, so UK or US only services wont work.

    My girlfriend is in Nigeria for the better part of the year and she has an Econet mobile phone.

    How can I send text messages (sms) to her from the internet? I wouldn`t mind paying for it, but it can`t be a service that only takes US- or UK-residents, for I live in the Netherlands.
