DVD receiver DM-R500

Hello!

I have this machine sold under the Platinium "brand" here in RO - it's also for sale under Dimarson "brand" in HU - and i found the manufacturer to be DM Tech from Korea. Can anyone tel me how can i find a code to play region 1 DVD's? Curent region setting=2.

open the tray-



press the set up button-



scroll right to the lock-



press 5 on the remote-



you will see a secret code-



select the correct region-



enter and/or return-



then set up button again-



all set

This does not work, mine is a hyundai dm-r500 dvd reciever and i want to play region 1 dvds. How can i get this to work

One of my friend also told me this solution , it worked for his machine but not on mine, I tried all the numbers including 5 but no new screen pops up to enter the region number
