Philips DVD 640 region-free hack help!

I have read the same hack over and over again for the Philips DVD640 (the one where you open the tray, and push 0 five times on the remote). What I want to know is if it really does have limited use of 25 times. (I have read that this is possible with this hack, but I can't find it confirmed or denied anywhere!) If it is true that it will lock to the last region set after 25 times, what will happen if the last region I set it to is 0 (i.e. region-free)? Do I need to reset the region every time I want to use it, or will it stay on the last setting until I change it again?



I would appreciate any help anyone can give me!!! I don't want to risk messing up my player before I've even used it once!
