i recentrly bought the Mercury KOB 252 MP3-CD-VCD Player, it seemed like an exellent buy for only £50, but after a few days i noticed that it doesnt support multi-session cd's. HECK IT DOESNT EVEN SUPPORT CD-RW'S LIKE IT SED IT DOES ON THE BOX!! do u think it is to do with the brand of CD-RW'S, or is my player messed. there is a nother problem, wen i burn some mp3's in a multisession cd the songs play fine, but wen i add new songs the new song dont get added in my player, even though it sez that it supports multi-session cd's. PLZ HELP!!! IF NE1 HAS THE SAME PROBLEM THEN EMAIL ME!

    hi

now u r prob is that u cannot play cd r/w on u r mercury ...well the mercury / fujitel / and numerous chinese ones all suffer from the same prob. therefore most of them do not play cd r/w but THERE IS A WAY OUT now dont worry caus this prob is not ubique most of the chinese models cannot play cd r/w that is cd read- write .(.CD R/W are.the kind of cd s u write and rewrite over and over again ).. BUT THEY CAN PLAY CD-R s ( WHICH R WRITE ONCE CD S ) WHICH U GET CHEAP IN THE MARKET SO THE TRICK IS TO GET THESE WRITE ONCE CD S AND BURN THEM WITH WHATEVER MP3 S U HAVE IN ONE GO AND THEN LISTEN TO THEM ON U R PLAYER..THATS WHAT I DO AND IT PLAYS THEM FINE BUT WITH CD READ-WRITE WHICH U ERASE AND WRITE OVER AND OVER AGAIN DO NOT WORK ON MOST MODELS(CHINESE)CAUS THE CHINESE JUST TAKE A PLAYER AND START MASS COPYING IT TO MANUFACTURE IN BULK THEREFORE THE PROBLEM IS QUITE COMMON .THE SOL. HOWEVER AS I TOLD U JUST GET THE WRITE ONCE CHEAP CD S FROM THE MARKET AND BURN THEM WITH MP3 THE ONLY PROB U WOULD NOT B ABLE TO EDIT THEM ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN WRITTEN ( A CD R/W COSTS 10 TIMES WHAT A CD R COSTS THEREFORE I FEEL THAT I WOULD INSTEAD BUY 10 CD R S THAN GET STUCK WITH ONE CD R/W)

so did that solve u r problem well i would say u win some u losse some ....well for me i got a panasonic and i paid 6500 rupees( 130$ )for that and it suffers from the same problem (it says made in china on the back !!!!...lol and i thaught it was japanese )so u got a good deal for 50 pounds DONT WORRY BE HAPPY BYEE
