I've just bought one of these myself, so I will give you what I have found
Downsides ....
The battery life is quite poor, with only light usage draining them. Probably around 60 pictures with flash will drain the batteries. There is no power alternative, battries only.
The zoom doesn't work with the higher picture resolutions, ie the 2048x1536 and 2304x1728. The zoom is only digital zoom, no optical zoom at all.
The automatic light adjustment isn't very good, often resulting in over exposure. This can be set manually, but reverts to automatic as soon as the camera is switched on again.
The zoom doesn't work with the viewfinder, only with the LCD display.
The camera doesn't draw any power from the USB connection - meaning that if you want it as a webcam, be prepared to have lots of batteries spare.
Its not great in poor light, with grainy pictures being produced.
The optics aren't fantastic, with some slight blurring around the edges of the pictures.
Upsides ....
Its bloody cheap.
4 Mega pixel Resolution.
Fairly simple to use.
Has a self time.
Comes with a mini tripod.
Has a 4cm LCD screen.
It has TV out with NTSC/PAL and 50/60mhz.
Did I mention 4 Megapixel resolution?
The picture quality I would say is probably poor to middling.
In conclusion a basic featured camera that performs adequately but with a very low price point. -

I just bought the camera tree days ago and I'm Happy with it. At daylight the pictures are very good and bright at the lowest resolution.
Night time in the begining I had problems but after some adjustments the result was very good.
You get what you pay but you get more with this camera.
Anyway the chips are not still perfect what they use in digital cameras in all brands. Thats why a very cheap MUSTEC camcorder can be elected as the winner of a competition against all expensive brands.
This cam is enough I think. Simple to use and good quality images.
It's up to how much money you plan to spend or you can spend for a camera.
Cheap doesn't mean the worst. Somethimes can be the best. -

My review of Digital Camera Trust 820 LCD Powercam Zoom at 140 euros:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
pros:
-------
none at this price?(outdoor pictures at only 1M are OK)
cons:
--------
- very low CCD resolution (lower than 2M!!, very possibly 1M)
- highest resolution pictures very bad, worse than lower resolution
- sharp pictures possible under strict conditions at 1M; by resizing with software to 3 and 4M you get exactly the same result as with the camera at 3 and 4M
- because of this resizing, bad pictures (very grainy and unsharp, but OK at 1M)
- color problems: the nice blue sky often turns green and red etc...
- saturation: no contrast possible (heavy limitation for pictures); if there is one object among other slightly darker objects,
the reflected light is highly saturated (eg. pictures of flowers)
- not worth 140 euros
conclusion: don''t buy this camera, try another make, available for the same price.

I bought this camera for £85 from Computer-World. I tried it and I was instantly disappointed the quality was grainy and low res it was not even good enough for website let alone printing, I tell vie !!
Trust me, I might not know nowt about digital cameras but this camera is camera Not 4 megapixels I exchange it for Kodak easyshare cx6200 for £100 , This cameras the mutts nuts man, I am totally besotted with it . I do not believe the quality of the prints.
I think that when you consider buying a digital camera you should consider the quality of the sensors as wall as the magapixals, If you do not you could get a camera that produces grainy and bad colour pictures -

Thanks to all the reviewers! This camera is available for €89 in the local chain store (Dunnes Stores, Ireland)but I'm off to Frankfurt during the week and I expect I will buy a Canon powershot A70 (3.2 & quot;real & quot; megapixels) if it is less than the €379 that the Dublin rip off merchants are asking. I have a Canon EOS 500 for several years and I am rarely disappointed with the output so I know what i am getting with Canon. Better to spend €300+ rather than waste €89! -

Well, I just got the cam. Considering the price (about 67 euros) it's well.. worth the money, so to speak.
Dark shots are poor. Increasing gamma (EVS I believe the cam calls it) makes dark shots VERY grainy. As for the light shots - satisfactory.
Power is quite the problem, not possible to load via USB, so as a webcam it's unusable.
But it's small, lightweight and dirt cheap. As long as you have batteries at hand, it's quite ok, for your kid or a non-power-user.
