    Rcvd a KLH DVD-8350 as a gift. Is there a code that would enable my RCA model RCU600RS universal remote control to turn the DVD On & Off?

    I don't have an answer for you, IssaquahBob, but I am considering buying the KLH myself and would like to know how you like it and if you find a way to use univeral remotes (an association with a similar older code). I'm comparing the 8350 for $60 to a Toshiba SD K510 for $70; are you aware of any significant features yours has or doesn't have that the Toshiba might have?

    It appears that there is no region hack for this DVD player. but I tested an SVCD in it last night. Guess what. It worked wonderfully. I only assume it plays VCD aswell.
