Look for Orangepeeler or OP and you should find the instructions somewhere. Sorry I can't give you the details but it's been ages since I did this and I've know idea where the disc is with all the files on it. Basically you need the firmware, tmpeg, a Sampo firmware tweaker and possibly others but I can't honestly remember.

GEEZ, STOP SHOUTING, GEEZ, GET A GRIP, GEEZ, IF SOMEONE SAYS SOMETHING DOESN'T WORK DON'T JUST POST THE SAME THING AGAIN, GEEZ, KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT.

Back to business, I found my original instructions so here you go, if anyone still wants to change the background.

Remove the tesco's background and replace it with something you actually want.

    1. Take the image you want as your background and use it as the source file in TMPGEnc-2.57.41.146-Free.zip

    2. Adjust the settings so that the output mpg is 720x480 and 22073(or slightly less)bytes.

    3. Get hold of the original BANK30.ROM firmware from Tesco.

    4. Open EZPatchV12.zip and point it to the firmware, the only patch available will be the background patch. Choose it and select the mpg you made before as the file to patch it with.

5.Save the output as raw.bin, not bank30. Then change the file name to BANK30.ROM.

    6. Burn the new rom onto a CD and flash away.

everybody tells you to gert hold of the original Bank30 rom. Well tesco say they dont have it and that you cant get it. Why not supply it instead of telling everyone to get hold of it.
