can i fit a turn table to a SONY MHC-NX3AV hi-fi

i owned an old Sony hi-fi system,not sure of model, it had the usual tape deck, radio, and could connect a turn table which i did.

Now i've had this new hi-fi i've tried to connect the turn table into it through the two original jack plugs and it playes very very quietly so you can turn the volume right the way up to hear it but of course you then get the buzzing sound.



please help! any suggestions at all?
