    Can anyone help me with the details to hack the Grundig GDV720HT for multi region play back.

    open tray put in a r1 disc but DON'T CLOSE, key in 0123 on the remote, press play

    open tray put in a r1 disc but DON'T CLOSE, key in 0123 on the remote, press play.............................however if that does not work try....Open the tray, key in 81328 and the Region chooser should appear.

    Use the enter key to go to Region 9 for multi region and press play.

    You can now play multi region dvd's. you may find a judder if you tv can't convert to pal though.

    Thanks for that code for the region changer it worked great, it is set to region nine now and plays anything, now the r1 dvd's play in black & white obviousley because they are NTSC, is there anyway of changing it to PAL as my TV does not support NTSC.

    no idea, look in the instruction booklet it may well have an option to change from pal to ntsc in the settings somewhere, i would be suprised if the machine won't do it, the problem is working out how to make it do it!
