    Andrew,
    I am also looking for a hack for this model. There are absolutely no markings on the player or documentation other than DVHS 1. It is a Video/DVD combo.
    I have tried all of the remote control handset Bush DVD hacks to no avail.

    Has anyone got a hack for the bush DVHS 1 dvd/video combo? This is the name that appears on the instructions there are no other reference?

    i am getting a lot of e mails about this machine! i will have a proper look into it when i have recovered from the christmas alcohol! but did you try the older hack?....Open the DVD players tray.

    Place a Region 1 disc in the tray, but don't close it.

    Press the buttons 0, 1, 2 and then 3 on your remote control in order, one at a time.

    Press the Play button on either your remote or the player.

    this one works on all the old bushes ariston wharfdales etc.

    i have one of theese and it is the same machine as the ORION DVC5000 i have looked to find a hack for both machines, but no joy..hopefully you blokes know how to search better than me...please let us know if you find anything...

    ok so here they are!!!!!!!!! i am told the second one works on most machines......

    Press open on the remote.

    Press 2,0,0 and 1 on the remote.

    Player should now be multi region. or if that doesn't work this will........

    1. OPEN DRAW.

    2. PRESS STOP ON YOUR REMOTE

    3. PUSH THE NUMBER 1,9,9,9 ON YOUR REMOTE (ONE AFTER THE OTHER). A SETUP MENU WILL APPEAR ON YOUR SCREEN.

    4. WERE IT SAYS REGIONAL CODE CHANGE TO ALL.

    5. CLOSE THE DRAW. NOW YOUR PLAYER IS MULTI-REGIONAL
