    ge = general electric? the machine is based on somebody elses internals, if you can tell me who's i might be able to help. (reviews for it may tell you)

    according to http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdhacks.php?select=GE%20Digital%20GE1106 you'd need a firmware upgrade.
