    I recently bought technika 1020 dvd player and I want to make it region free . could only find the hack for technika 1010 , tried that one but didn't work , can any one help me out with that , thanking in advance .

    Tried google search for it. Can't find anything. Do you know of any pictures of it online? Could be that it is sold under another name in other countries.

    Look for Wharfedale M3 hack at http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/forums. It's a nicely simple matter of typing a code on the remote.
    Thinking of buying this Technika (Megapool NL sells it at a good price). Some Q's I hope you can answer:
    - Does it come with any cables (like scart, audio)?
    - Does it play CD-RW and/or DVD-R / -RW / +R / +RW?

    I could solve my problem , Infact I played around with all the possible combination with the sequence of steps for breaking the region free code for Technika 1010 which I found thro google . It is exactly the same steps apart from if one can skip the second or third step which I don't know by heart , but it worked and me a happy man now..anyway thanx for ur enquirying about it ..
