The spring under the detergent lid came loose on my SGS5302 and since putting it back It doesn't work all the time. Can someone please tell me how the spring should be connected or send me a photo to dinger@beyond.net.au

    Many thanks

    Replace the lid, partnumber 166621.

Test the opening by pressing the knob to disengage the lid once it is closed. But it just sounds like a bad lid. When you undo the lis, you will find a single spring underneath the lid just remember how it is attached to the soapdispencer.

I have a problem with the door not latching (and a broken spring trying to diagnose that!)

So, can you say to which dishwasher model you referred, and whether you obtained just the door or had to buy the whole dispenser assembly?

Also can you specify the supplier of said parts?

    TIA

Can someone please tell me the correct mounting for the spring in the detergent dispenser. Mine came out and since putting it back the door now works intermittantly. I'm sure it's to do with the orientation of the spring.

    Hi Greg
Did you ever solve your dishwasher detergent dispenser oroblem ,as mine has fell off and i cab,t get it back on

    Regards
    Martin

    Hi Martin.

Looks like we have exactly the same problem! My partner has removed the lid and now cannot figure out which way the spring goes! Any luck in fixing yours?

I have found the lid to buy for £14.99, but I am a bit reluctant incase it is just the lid with no instructions!

    Cheers

    Mark

    Hi Mark
It was quite simple in the end,the spring is off set and sits in to the recess on the inside of the lid one loop on to back peg and than clip on to the soap dispencer peg and snap on ( sound complicated but it's not) just look at spring from the side and you'll see what i mean

    all the best

    Mart

Thank you , Martin. I recommend inserting door in guide, attaching the spring to the dispenser peg next, then attaching spring to peg on back of door, before pushing door in place.

We ended up ordering the following two parts (after much searching)!!:

    http://www.espares.co.uk/product.aspx?id=177848

On arrival we noticed that our old hatch door was indeed broken and was missing a small piece of plastic that allowed it to clip shut.

No more annoyances trying to get the damn door to stay shut Razz

I have a bosch sgv4313gb dishwasher and have recently noticed a drop in washing quality. Have checked filters, spray arms and rubber medal shaped seal under filter tray. On turning impeller on left hand side it appears to be sticking and cannot be freely rotated. Is this the problem?

    Thanx in advance.
