After sucessfully making my Toshiba SD420E region free using the information on this site http://members.tripod.com/aiwaownersnetwork/pages/lg/5000_series_firmware.html I discovered alot of people are still left in the dark about this hack.



Still people post saying you can't hack the toshiba you have to modify it, but it appears this model of the Toshiba DVD player uses the same firmware as the LG 5000 series.



All you do is burn that file on the website onto a CDR, pop it into your DVD player and select your region. Like I was, you might be skeptical, but it does work, and no one was happier than me to discover I didnt have to spend an extra £100 paying for mods.
