    Anybody know the multi region hack for the 2081 - the one for the 2051 doesn't work!

    These machines run region one and two automatically, not known for other regions as I don't have dvd'd for others.

    They also run vcd to version 2 along with MP3's.

    One nice feature is that if you make a slideshow with digital stills, you can view them like a slide show selecting one at a time. Ideal boring kit!



    For under £60 in the UK, a great buy. I bought three..with staff discount.

    Yo........are you trying to tell me that Region 1 DVDs already run on the Naiko N2081 without the need for a hack.....



    I have tried this and it doesn't run Region 1 dvds......

    As ye olde crier said, it's multiregion out of the box - I've just bought one and it plays R1, R2 and R4 quite happily. Also seen reports it plays R1 RCE titles without a hitch.



    If you bought it at Safeway (59.99 there) and it isn't playing R1 titles, take it back and get another one!

    What about Macrovision? Is that disabled out of the box too?
