fantastic buy @ £49.99, region hack worked great,
press open,clear and then 1, 3, 6, 9, 0 and then close for multi region
with any region disc in the machine.
works great. this machine has played svcd, vcd, dvd-r, dvd+rw
i recon this player will play anything if you use the right disc/burner combination.

Nice to see my original message has had a good response, and the price has halved too!! This DVD player plays anything you put in it when the correct codes are entered. Why pay for well known brands, when this one works better!!! -

Pity my local woolies has now run out, as i bought the last one for me ma, except of course for the display model which i might try to get a further discount on tomorrow for me-sen, he he he. -

I bought one of these Welkin DVD'S from Woolworths and I cannot get the remote to work at all. Remote LED on the Player Flashes but nothing else happens at all. Anyone else had this problem. I have tried three sets of batteries and am sure there is nothing wrong with them. Any help would be appreciated.

I have just bought a Welkin DVD Player from a Woolworths Store ("Big W") and rhe remote control does not work at all - have tried three sets of new batteries now but still the same.
The remote LED on the DVD Player flashes when you press any button on the Remote but nothing else happens.
Is there any special button sequence that needs to be pressed to associate the Remote with the DVD Player the first time you use it????
Any recommendations or is it just a faulty remote?? -

Does this Welkin play copies or do i need to do hack to get it to do this? Only just got mine and cant find copy anywhere to try
