toshiba portege 3110CT

hey folks

my first post here! so please helpout this newbie!

anyways, my question is that for the toshiba portege 3110CT laptop, the spec stated that the max ram for the machine is 192mb (64internal+128mbslot) however, since this laptop uses pc100 sodimm ram , there are bigger capacities avaliable all around like 256/512 mb. so i'm asking if anyone has experience installing a 256/512mb sodimm into the 3110CT and will the laptop reconise all that new ram!
