Has anyone got/ driven a Peugeot 806? I want to know what the flashing red STOP sign is telling me when I put the ignition key in.

THE STOP SIGN IS A INDICATOR TO TELL THE DRIVE THAT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING IS INCORRECT

    (A) COOLANT LEVEL IS LOW

    (B) OIL LEVEL IS LOW

    (C) BRAKE FLUID IS LOW

THIS LIGHT WILL COME ON IF ANY OF THE ABOVE LEVEL SENSORS IS FAULTY

    Hello,

I have a Peugeot 307 and have had many other Peugeot's since the 205 in early 1980s.

If you mean that the STOP sign comes on at ignition, i.e. when you turn the car on, then this is not a problem. The LED will stay on for a few seconds after the engine has started but should go off in a few seconds.

If it remains on after 3 seconds max, take your vehicle to Peugeot to service it. It could be a wiring problem or a problem with the engine / oil. Peugeot should be able to fix the problem promptly.
