Hi Chris, absoultely everything & every message you are getting was exactly what I was getting. I took the risk & ordered another cable this time direct from Sagem & not from Ebay were i got the last one & bingo it worked first time & found my phone on auto, i could not believe it!!!. The cable you have is definetely faulty i'm afraid.

Funny enough I got my cable off Ebay for 7 quid as well

I shall order direct from Sagem myself after xmas now

I've got the same problem, i even ordered a new one from sagem but it still says things like, im not using automatic speed, or a failure in port 1 when i have it in port 2. I'm getting really annoyed! I've done everything that you people told me to - turn off my phone and on again, order a new one, change ports, and everything. I do have Winzip already on my computer so i dont know why it should be not working

Hi, I have a usb data cable for my-x5.
but all the diffrent conection programs I can find will only conect through com ports!
anybody know where I can get some software that can connect through usb.
