    Hello,

    I am looking into buying a portable mp3 player and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. I don't know if mp3 players like the Archos with a 20GB hard drive is good or mp3 players like the sony walkman with a 128mb memory stick is better????

    Obviously the large hard drive means you can put more music BUT it has moving parts which will always die. The memory seems good, but it's only 128mb - I know you can alway but more memory sticks and it has no moving parts...

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Technophobe needing advice on MP3 Chmas pressie - has anyone experienced a Sony HD3 - sounds good, ie 30 hrs playback, can store audio and visual but I would like to hear comments before making the financial commitment. Any thoughts please?
