    I have one myself that is region 2. The rc6 hack doesn't work. Different codes for this player. You don't seem to need the all4one remote. Just turn on the player with no disk. On remote press
    (play) 159 and then the 12 digit code. The display scrolls the numbers. At last hit play. If the code don't work the player hangs. Pressing the power button on the player turns it of after a 5 second delay.

    You can also press (play) 274 to get to the code input. If anyone has working 12 digit codes for philips dvd623, please post it here. I have not been able to find them on the net yet.

    No, but if anyone does find it...please post it! I am stuck here with 50 R1 dvds and my evil Xgirlfriend stole my codefree player!!!
