    Can anyone help?



    I'm looking for a multi reigon hack for a LG DVD 5253. All I can seem to find is a hack for the 4 series LG DVD players and this does not work for the 5253.



    If anyone out there could help it would be much appreciated.

    Tried out that hack and it worked no problem. My player is now working on all reigon codes.

    is there any way of making this dvd player multi-regional without d/ling file from internet?

    I thought there would have been a 'code' of some sort that could be programmed directly into player.. any ideas would be appreciated : )

    In short I don't know. I used the download burned on to a CD.
    > It was a simple task. The down load took no time at all and I followed the instructions which were to insert the disc, select 0 for region free press enter and switch the machine off and on again.
    The unit is now region free and working perfectly.
