I have a new Bosch SHE68M. When the dishwasher is done the display shows a thermometer with an arrow pointing up. What does this mean? I don't know that I like this diswasher - most of the dishes are still wet - the plastic is really wet.

I purchased a Bosch Dishwasher Model SHU43C it in Apr 2007.
I researched it thoroughly and based on consumer reports rating and particularly the low level of noise of this model, I purchased it.
In a matter of six months, the dishwasher became noisier than before. I kept putting up with that. The second time, in Nov 2008, I placed a repair call in which the circulation pump was replaced. Two months ago (June 2009), the dishwasher started leaving water in the bottom after finishing the cycle. I checked and cleaned it. It was due to a piece of metal being stocked at the end of the drainage pipe (how did that get there, beats me).
Now it has been a while that this dishwasher does not clean properly. The glasses are always smelly.
Please help as I am completely frustrated with this dishwasher. I thought I purchased a top quality dishwasher but it turned up to a lemon.

Hi! I really hope someone can help! I have a Bosch SHX46A dishwasher purchased in 2006. Recently the "sanitized" indicator light has stopped working. The dishes also do not seem as hot as they used to when the cycle finishes. Also, it seems to be running longer than it used to (though I haven't timed it!) Any suggestions on what's wrong and how to fix? Thanks in advance! Very Happy

    Hi,

The pump on my Bosch dishwasher SGV4313GB continues to run, even when the door is opened. It stops when the Switch is switched off, but continues when it is switched back on. It won't start a new cycle. Any ideas?

    Pete.

I have a dishwasher SGS5342GB. For some time it's been filling with a clunking noise, (the water supply is cut off and re-established, I can hear the water input noise start & stop) The M/C eventually fills and completes its cycle. (same clunking at rinse time). Last night it didn't fill at all. I've taken off the WATER INLET VALVE and was about to order a new one when I thought 'can this item be tested'? I'm assuming that the valve is 12V. So the questions are a) is this the likely culprit? If not what else? b) can it be tested
On the left side the water inlet columns are empty except the last but one. This has 'Dirty' water in it. At the top (of this column) the interconnect has some greasy deposits, is this a contributory factor?

I HAVE A BOSCH SGS5022GB/07 DISHWASHER WHICH HAS BEEN LYING IDLE FOR 2 TO 3 YEARS.
FEW DAYS BACK I SWITCHED IT ON AND IT DISCHARGED THE D/W IN THE MACHINE FIRST THEN STARTED THE FILLING PROCESS SO I DECIDED TO LOAD THE MACHINE WITH CUTLERY AND SWITCHED ON. IT DID NOT WASH ANYTHING, NO WATER COMING IN SO I DECIDED TO GIVE A GOOD BLOW ON THE DISCHARGE PIPE OUTLET AND SWITCHED ON. IT WORKED AD THE MACHINE DONE IT'S JOB EXCEPT EMTYING THE D/ WATER IN THE END.
ALL LOADED ITEMS WERE CLEAN, JUST TO TEST THE MACHINE I LOADED EVERYTHING.
THERE IS WATER ON THE BOTTOM WHICH WAS NOT DISCHARGED IN THE PROCESS CYCLE.
