ericsson 68 -wap setting locked(4 Messages)

    i have a ericsson t68 for cingular(unlocked).I am trying to change its wap settings in order to make it work on t-mobile(voicestream).But for some reason all the profiles are locked and i am not able to edit the settings.

    Need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have the SAME PROBLEM TOO!!! DOES IT MEAN CINGULAR LOCK THE BROWSER AND THE T68 WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WAP BROWSE ON ANY OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER???

    My phone's an AT & T unlocked phone, and I use T-Mobile service. I have the same problem with my phone. I called up T-Mobile and they tried everything possible. I think the fault is in the T-Mobile service. I recently sent my phone to the Sony Ericsson company, explaining the problem. It's been almost a week since they've had the phone. Hopefully they've fixed the problem. If it works, I'll update you guys.

    Same situation here. Called cingular- they wont give it out or they dont have it. An engineer has to unlock it- but if you dont have an account-they wont do it. also, u would have to send the phone in! called sony ericsson, they said if they flash the software...the wap settings would still be locked! we probably all got a good price for the cingular t68i, but that's the catch! so frustrated. let me know if you guys find anything out. i'll keep you all posted.
