WORDS OF WARNING !!!
I just picked up this Camera at a Garage Sale for $15.00 It is essentially a Cheap Plastic Fixed Focus 35 MM Camera. Designed to look like Olympus SRL Camera. I haven't had a chance to test it, but It has what looks like a focus ring on the front, which is actually only used to change the light aperture in the front of the Camera. It has a small Lever directly under the View Finder Next to the Lens, which is a timer for delayed picture taking. The Red EYE Reduction consist of a Blinking Red LED on the front of the Camera. Ultimately it is not worth over $30.00 retail. It does have one interesting Feature though and that is the Small Refracted Light View Screen. Beyond that I would say there seems to be many vender's on the web who are way over Pricing this Camera.
And I do Mean WAY over Pricing it.
Just wanted to warn others who might be getting Ready to buy this Camera, It is NOT A REAL SRL Camera. But if you can get it Cheep it $10-$20 might be OK to play around with. Don't Buy it if you want a Professional Camera.
Quote: My uncle and three of his neighbors bought Olympia DL2000 cameras for £50 each from a man claiming to be a rep who had been attending a trade fair.He said he had to fly back to Italy and couldn't take them with him because of the security situation. Retail price £799,to good to be true uh?
