Hi, Our LG GR419BSCA fridge-freezer has started to build up large amounts of ice at the bottom of the freezer compartment, so that bottom draw gets stuck.
I don't seem to be able to find much technical information about this unit and can't see how to check things like the condensate drain.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions,
Chris -

Oops, drawer, of course. I think there has been some water on the floor too. -

I know I talking to myself here, but having found the solution, I thought I should let others know!
Very simple once you know: There is a panel at the back of the freezer, so
1. Unplug, so it starts to thaw.
2. Unload freezer compartment.
3. Pull out panel at rear of freezer compartment (you do NOT need to undo the two screws).
3. Remove, using hot water or whatever means, the big lump of ice in the drainage trough at the bottom blocking the drain hole.
4. While you are doing, remove the cover at the lower back of the fridge-freezer and clean out all the dust, especially off the heat-exchanger and the fan blades, which will help it run better and more quietly.
Now, why couldn't that have been in the manual? -

Hello.
I have the same problem and just wanted to double check. do you mean the panel inside the freezer compartment or at the back of the freezer? ie pull it away from the wall?
