57 Plate Corsa, Window heating and hand book

2 questions please,

I drive a 57 plate 1.3 CDTi corsa, When i turn the heating on to demist the windscreen, no heat comes out of the vents under the window but instead comes out of the vents which point to my face and body. Can any one help me please.??

Also, does any one where i can get a hand book for the corsa??
