We recently picked up this new stray kitty, and he's not fully grown yet. He doesn't come into contact with any unfixed females, (we don't let him out alone in case he becomes a stray again..) so we haven't been quick to neuter him, but I was just wondering: are there any health problems/benefits related to the age at which a male cat is neutered?
Like, if we let him fully develop first, would that be better/worse than if we do it before he's fully grown? Do cats neutered younger live longer or are less prone to cancer or whatever, or is it maybe the other way around?
Or does it not matter one way or the other?
