I recieved a damaged bass guitar from applestone music and sound which I sent back for replacement because I really liked the instrument. Its over a month before this one is collected.

2 months later a second vintage vcb 430 bass guitar arrives damaged. this time the shop owner David Collerton refuses to collect and says I must send it back if I want a refund.

I then sent the bass guitar back which cost me £11.99 in postage and even though I had paid £203.10 for the bass guitar Ive only just been given a refund today for £193. £10 less than I paid for it and 2 weeks after David Collerton and signed for recieved the bass guitar.

David's Collertons reason for the delay was that and I quote "I have to space my refunds out as because Im a small business". what refunds I wonder?

Dealing with this shop has cost me just over £22, £11.99 to send the second damaged bass guitar back as David Collerton refused to collect it and another £10 because I didnt get a full refund as David Collerton stated he would be taking postage costs out of the refund.

This matter has since been past onto both consumer direct and trading standards as Im disgusted with service from applestone music and sound (also known at guitar world uk ltd)
