I have a whirlpool ultimate care washing machine that some times i have to put it through the spin cycle 2 times in order for it to spin and drain. I had a repairman inand he thought the hose was to low in the drainpipe, it worked for a little while and then it stopped any ideas? Most of the times it involves towels in the full capacity load -

Hi
Firstly check the filter, it has a lot to do with draining.
The memory may be fooled into thinking it hasnt done the job properly if you are continualy doing full capacity loads, towels will get very heavy and if the machine has a weight sensor it will think it is still draining/spinning.
It may save a lot of hassle for you if you upgrade to a 10kg machine !
Hope this helps
Paul
