I asked Webley if they make any of their air guns and what the quotes round the "senior" meant anything.
and they said:
The Webley manufacturing company ceased trading back in 2005 and so that was when UK made rifles stopped production . the Raider 10 was still made in UK until last year and now has been moved to Turkey with the rest of the range.
No real idea what the quotation marks are for around Senior . Unnecessary really . -

Perhaps it`s just to emphasize the model. Was there ever a Webley `Junior`
Pity that even the Raider 10 has been moved to Turkey too
I still miss having that gun around
The Turkish company Hatsan have got a connection with Webley and i must say that their range of multis do look suspiciously similar.
Check out the AT44 PA (Pump Action
) If it`s based on a Raider 10 I want one!!

Hey Druid how are you. Been a while. I hope your doing fine. I haven't heard from TP/Mike for a while. His wife took ill and I did want to bother him.
Also, hello again to Groundskeeper. I still remember you. You were always pretty cool and had good advice.
Also, hello to A2P. Good luck on the nice 30-06 and how's the shotgun shooting coming along?
A1, still sailing the world?
BriarRabbit, still shooting you Mendoza and kyaking?
Hatsan has some nice looking models. Their build is most likely better than the chinese. Daisy/Winchester has good luck with Hatsan springers. Their barrels still have slight lower quality than chinese imo, but keep your receipt on any airgun. No company is perfect. I do like the looks of the Hatsan for sure.
Hunting season is upon us here, and we've been pretty busy at work. I guess busy work is better than no work, so I take it when I can. I've been having a great time with the Discovry .22 and may try out the .177 barrel once hunting season is over. Been running 10-12 ftlbs and 80-90 shots. Rabbits, squirrel, possiums and crows don'r know what hit them. At such low fps, it's really smooth and quiet.
I wish everyone the best of health and all the luck in the world!!!!!!!

Hey AJ how are you?
The 30/06 looks pretty good, i'll try and get some pics up soon. My camera is playing up.
The shotty is going pretty good. Took it hunting not too long ago, along with the .223.
Boy does the 223 do damage! I know its one of the smallest centre fires but woah! I took a couple of roos with it. My dad took the biggest one the property owner (our close friend) has ever seen with a neck shot at about 150 meters ( measure by the 4WDS odometer) i was pretty impressed with the accuracy of the weatherby. If anyone is interested in a good quality, the weatherby vanguard is a good choice.
I also took a roo with the shotty. But unfortunately it need a quick follow up with the .22. 2 reasons i think. One was i the distance was misjudged because it was at night. and the second i used my bottom barrel which had the improved cylinder choke, instead of the tops with the improved modified in there, the IC choke will be good for no more then 30 meters. But we finished it off quickly which is the main thing. I also took a yummy hare on the run with it, was pretty happy with that too
During the day we took the 30/06 out to the back paddocks for a bit of 'plinking'. Some big old gum trees where the targets. I took the first shot of it. I was really expecting to be knocked on my back side and have a bruised shoulder, seeing as it has a steel butt plate, but the recoil was no more then low-recoil 12 gauge loads which are pretty comfortable even after shooting 100. We put 20 rounds through it at various distance onto gum trees. all shots where hits, not exactly where we aimed, these where all off hand though, so i cant wait to try it off the bench. Im hoping it has accuracy for piggies out to 100 meters. I wont shoot any further then that with open sites.
School holidays are coming up soon, so hopefully i get the chance to go out again soon.
I've also done a bit of work on my marlin 22lr, which i think you will all like
ill do a little write about about it soon.
Peace all

Well I think you`re both lucky booggers getting to go shooting so much. I just cannot seem to find the time to focus back on it again for now...I`m just kept so busy all of the time just keeping up with all the other stuff
Not to worry though I KNOW I`ve taken on a BIG challenge this year but I`m confident when the time eventually becomes available again I`ll get back into it.
Yeah I hope TP/Mike is OK too AJ - It`s been good how we`ve all forged friendships on here over the years. You`re right too sometimes it`s hard to know what to say under certain circumstances...
A popular saying here in Aussie is "She`ll be right mate" and I reckon they`re probably right.
Hey A2P I hope you`re eating all those roos you`re shooting?! You`re freezer must be bloody rammed

We take a few but not all.
The reason we are doing it in the first place is because the farm is for beef, and because there is so many roos and cattle on the farm there isn't enough grass for all of them. The farmer owns a butcher a few mins from my house (top quality meat too btw!) so we go to his farm once in a while to keep the roo population down.
