...on the board. It's been a few years since I visited, but since the HW97K's come out of retirement to deal with an unexpected influx of squirrels, I thought I'd check out what's been happening here too.

Anyway, after a quick oil and zero-check the 97's doing as good a job as ever, with the proverbial half-inch groups at 30 metres. A quick check with the chrono showed 11.83 ft lbs too, which surprised me since it hadn't been used in a couple of years.

I assume the world's moved on and my rifle's probably obsolete by now - but it still shoots straight and hits hard, so will do me for a while yet.

    Cheers all - Groundsman

Nice shooting there!!!!! I'm lucky to get .700 to an inch at that range with a springer. I took my springer out after I shimmed the breach seal a bit and it's a lot of fun.

It's been pretty quiet here lately. I've been working with a Benjamin Discovery .22 and set up the adjustable hammer spring to shoot about 10-12 ftlbs and now I can get about 80 to 100 shots per fill. I use a hand pump and it's not too bad. I run in the 800 to 1700psi range.

Well it's good to here from you, good luck with them pesky squirrels!!!!

    Hello everyone!!!!

MadMatt - Been a while since we've seen you. Still working on Landis or gone hunting lately?

It's been raining here, so I've got the Discovery turned down to around 10 ftlbs for shooting indoors.

Druid - we watched some kayakers go down the river while at the new park they built a few blocks down from my house. The river is pretty low right now, but still plenty deep from what I hear.

A1 - Hows the freedom of driving been treating you?

    A2P - Get them roos!!!!
