Thanks for that Aj - he sounds like the sort of guy you could listen to for hours. He also explains the hold extremely well.
I must admit that I'm still practicing with the AH and some variations, but the area that I have a problem with is like he mentioned towards the end of the video - that of when you are trying to shoot in any other situation than the ideal - ie, laying on the ground or sitting at a table in front of a sandbag.
Having spent a fair amount of time sculking around my garden in practice mode trying to shoot imaginary targets from all sorts of positions, I'm not too sure that I'll acheive the same accuracy as I do in the comfort of garage/driveway range.
Still, today is another day and so I am sure I'll find an hour to fire a few shots and review the video again.
Thanks again for posting it up.
Regards

Cheers AJ. it`s good to be reminded of sound techniques
The AH analogy goes back to the old spring gun adage of `Letting it Breath` I guess.
What a nice chap he is too...Plus you`ve got to have respect for a man who`s gone through his whole life with a name like Thomas Gaylord.

With a springer, I mainly shoot wihtout a rest. All springers are different. There some that require a tight grip. The key is to find what works and practice repaeting that hold.
