Manual Trans -vs- '79 T-bird

Does anyone know kind of shifter kit SHOULD be used for combining a '79 T-bird with a Borg Warner T-10? I am contemplating prototyping my own and have a lever on the stick to actuate the clutch as well.. Hmmm.. should I build or not build it? I kinda just wanna get my car back on the road....
