Wildfire 250-TS problems

I have a Wildfire 250-TS scooter. (I've been told repeatedly they only made a few of this particular model.)

It hasn't run in many months. There is some problem in the electrical system causing the coil to burn up.

Does anyone have this model? or the wiring diagram or owners manual? This is the only model made without a light switch, so wiring diagrams of similar models have been no help.
