Just thought I'd share my delight in my new TV, I have just recently purchased a new Panasonic 42pz80 from Digital Direct at a good price I might add lol I love saving penny’s haha, and what a TV it is Laughing , it looks the part, sounds the part, and the visual quality is tremendous, I have a 32" lcd in my bedroom from a high end brand which I thought was a good performer but this Panasonic outshines it easily. The picture on free view on my plasma looks like it's in high def compared to the picture through sky on my lcd.

Plus sport looks fantastic, it handles motion so well that football is the a joy to watch as it once was, unless I’m watching my own teams current performance who's name I shall not mention for rear of comments ha.

Black levels again look amazing compared to lcd and most other plasma come too mention it, all in all Panasonic plasma's truly are fantastic quality especially if you can get them for a bargain price, so now not only am I convinced by Panasonic but that plasma truly is the dominant screen format.

All this talk of screen burn is hear say Evil or Very Mad as well, either people have scrimped on price and bought a poor quality cheep TV or it was a faulty set. I haven't had even a tiny amount of screen burn and I have sky sports news on constantly sometimes up to 6 hours a time some Saturdays and people who know the channel will know there are static images and logo's all over the screen.

Can't help but appreciate the knowledge and advice offered by the sales who help convince me that plasma was the way to go, rather than those people in shops trying to rip me off for expensive LCD's that talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Which Panasonic would make a 32" plasma. Shocked

Join in the plasma movement peeps. Smile
