Honda Jazz loss of oil

Can any body help with the following symptoms.
I have a Honda Jazz, 1yr old 10,000 miles.
I check the engine oil on a regular basis and have found NO loss at all.
Checked it 2weeks ago, fine.
Checked it today, only to find that there was no oil on dipstick what so ever. Put about 1.8 litres in to bring it up to the correct level. There are NO signs of any leaks or smoke from the exhaust.
NO loss of performance.
NO warning lights.
Where can it of gone?
