Which car? 70 mile a day, lot of motorway, need lots of miles per gallon!

I have a 65 mile round trip to work and back, a lot of which is on the motorway/dual carriageway. I currently drive an M reg Volvo 460, which is fine to drive but isn't particularly economical on petrol (I'm currently spending about £60 a week on petrol). It also won't last forever, being a bit elderly, so I'm thinking about what car to get next so I can figure out how much I'll need to save up. I don't know a massive amount about cars, so I'd be really grateful if anyone can give me any advice/suggestions.
My requirements, in order of importance:
- good fuel economy
- reliable
- not too expensive to buy second hand, or to insure
- inexpensive and easily obtainable parts for repairs
- powerful enough to keep up a decent speed on faster roads and up hills without struggling
- as large a car as possible (taking into account the above things!) - I used to have a H reg VW Polo and my boyfriend's head used to touch the roof, so I need a car that can fit a tall person in it!
- pref estate or hatchback with a reasonable amount of boot space
Thanks for any help!
